We love things that have a multitude of uses. Ambatalia's furoshiki large kitchen towel is a simple square towel made from a selection of sustainably sourced fabrics. Great as a durable kitchen towel but also perfect for carrying a casserole, or pie to potlucks and picnics. It turns into an instant apron as well as making a wonderful gift wrap for breads and wine. Comes with 68" twill tape (to transform into apron).

Molly de Vries is living her passion designing and creating modern textiles for use in the home, kitchen and garden. She believes every choice we make in our day to day life makes a difference in the world we live. Molly creates practical solutions to replace wasteful single-use disposables by offering beautiful, multi-purpose goods made from sustainably sourced fabrics. This is the motivating force behind Ambatalia - A non-disposable life. Less complicated, re-usable, environmental and functional beauty are a part of everything Ambatalia makes.
Many of Ambatalia's fabrics are made from a mix of organic cotton and hemp. Hemp is a natural fiber and is an amazing ecological alternative to conventional fabrics, it is a naturally pest resistant crop that aerates and replenishes the soil allowing it to have a low impact on the earth.
Machine wash cold or warm with like colors and line dry or tumble dry on low heat to improve fabric longevity. We do not recommend using whiteners or fabric softeners. Fabric softeners and dryer sheets can reduce the absorbency of cotton textiles, wool dryer balls are a great alternative. Warm iron if needed.
