Being dissatisfied with the empty, sugary breakfast foods in stores when their children were young (30 years ago), these three best friends started making granola for their families.  

What started as a shared recipe turned into a business - an award-winning delicious, healthy granola that's perfect for breakfast and also great as a dry snack, an ice cream or yogurt topping, or sprinkled over fruit and baked for a quick cobbler.  

They tested the waters by entering the Sonoma County Harvest Fair, a local food and wine competition, and, to their delight, swept the awards in the granola category (something they have now done for four years in a row!).
